I received one of these as a gift before setting off for Asia. I recall standing over my bag trying to find space for this bulky item that I questioned even the need for in sweltering Vietnam. My god was I wrong.
Once hitting the wet streets of Hanoi and driving the misty mountains of the central highlands I grew to love this jacket. Always comfortable, always durable. Even in light rain the water seems to bounce right off this microfleece, and it’s packing space is more than worthwhile. Even if you’re traveling to the Sun, pack like the shuttle there is freezing, because it always is.
