Once, while working in a bar in Cambodia a young woman came to me breathless.

“Do you know where this is?” She said, spinning her computer around to show me a map.

“Yeah, it’s the market in town. Why?” I asked, noting the flashing blue dot.

“Someone stole my iPhone and I tracked it here.”

Unfortunately, being Cambodia, even with technology to whisper to satellites in space, no copper would go bust up the local cell phone stands that obviously traffic in ones stolen from tourists.
