Exofficio Insect Shield Clothing
A scary thought to some, clothing soaked in chemicals, but I’ve done as much research on the subject as I can and feel the benefits outweigh the risks.
Deep in the fibres is a coating of Permethrin, a common insect repellent used in clothing and military fatigues for thirty years, which provides an odorless shield against biting insects. A handy piece of kit for the long term traveler when sleeping in the boonies.

The Bugs Away Breez’r is Insect Shield Repellent Apparel and features Flow Thru Ventilation to keep you cool and protected.
The rip stop nylon is lightweight, wicking and quick-drying to keep you dry and comfortable anywhere you roam. Permethrin, the active ingredient in Insect Shield, is invisible, odorless and so tightly bonded to the fabric fibers that it retains effective repellency through the life of the garment.
It repels mosquitoes (including those carrying West Nile virus and malaria), ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and midges (no-see-ums).
Insect Shield repellent lasts 70 washings.
